In this guide
Before you start.
- GAİN Premium is a monthly rolling subscription with no commitment. Its FAQ says the membership requires no annual commitment (taahhüt) and renews automatically each month until you cancel, and its subscription contract puts the price at 249 Turkish lira including VAT.
- The renewal date is tied to the day you subscribed. The contract says the monthly fee is collected on the day of each month corresponding to the day the contract was formed, so count from your sign-up date rather than from the start of the calendar month.
- There is no partial refund. GAİN's FAQ says that if you cancel before your subscription period ends, no refund can be made for the remaining time, and you continue watching Premium content until the renewal day.
- Check whether a store billed you. GAİN's FAQ describes two purchase routes: a card payment on gain.tv or in the app under Profil, Premium Hesaba Geç, and an in-app purchase through Google Play or the App Store. Only the first is cancelled on gain.tv.
- If someone else's payment method was used, the contract has a specific rule: where a third party made the payment when the subscription was set up, that third party has to carry out the cancellation.
- GAİN's own app is published for the Turkish stores. If you are outside Turkey and looking for GAİN in a US App Store subscription list, you will not find it there: the Turkish listing is a separate product from the similarly named apps in other countries' stores.
FOLLOW THE RIGHT BILLING ROUTE
Cancel GAİN, step by step.
Cancel on the gain.tv website
This is the route GAİN's own subscription contract specifies, for subscriptions paid by card rather than through a store. It is the only route GAİN describes in its own words, so the labels below come straight from the contract.
- Go to gain.tv and sign in to the account that holds the subscription.
- Open the Hesabım (my account) menu.
- Click the Abonelik İptali (subscription cancellation) button.
- Follow the directions in the information message that appears to complete the cancellation.
- Keep the confirmation. GAİN says you can keep watching Premium content until the renewal day.
GAİN's contract also says that where a third party made the payment, that third party must carry out the cancellation.
Cancel a Google Play subscription
GAİN's Android app carries in-app purchases, so a subscription started through Profil, Premium Hesaba Geç on Android is billed by Google and cancelled in the Play Store.
- Open the Google Play Store app on the Android device you subscribed on.
- Tap your profile icon in the top right.
- Select Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Select the GAİN subscription.
- Tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts to confirm.
Google states that it cannot cancel a subscription on your behalf, so the account holder has to complete this.
Cancel an App Store subscription
The GAİN app in the Turkish App Store sells a monthly subscription (Aylık Abonelik) as an in-app purchase, priced at 249 Turkish lira, matching the contract price. Where you bought it there, Apple bills you.
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap your name at the top of the screen.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Select the GAİN subscription from the list.
- Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.
If the subscription is not listed, you are signed in with a different Apple Account than the one that paid, or GAİN billed your card directly and the website route applies instead.
What happens next?
- Cancelling stops the next monthly charge. GAİN says Premium content stays watchable until the renewal day, which is the day of the month matching your original sign-up date.
- No money is returned for the remainder of the month. GAİN's FAQ states plainly that no refund is made for the remaining subscription period when you cancel early.
- Cancelling is free. GAİN says the subscription requires no commitment and no early termination fee applies.
- Content availability does not change by cancelling in one country or another: GAİN says Turkish content can be watched worldwide, while some foreign subtitled titles may not be available in every country for licensing reasons.
WHEN IT DOES NOT WORK
If you get stuck.
I cancelled in the app but the charge keeps coming
The likely cause is that a store, not GAİN, holds the subscription. GAİN's FAQ describes both a direct card purchase and an in-app purchase through Google Play or the App Store as separate routes, and only the direct one is ended by the Abonelik İptali button on gain.tv. Check whether the charge on your statement names Google or Apple, and cancel in that store.
Someone else pays for my GAİN and I cannot cancel it
GAİN's subscription contract has an explicit clause for this: where a third party's payment method was used to set up the subscription, the cancellation has to be carried out by that third party. The account holder alone cannot end a subscription paid on someone else's instrument.
My payment failed and I assumed the subscription ended
It does not work that way. GAİN's contract says that if the payment method expires, has insufficient funds or otherwise fails, you cannot use the content but the payment obligation continues, and the unpaid amount is collectable with statutory interest. Cancel explicitly rather than letting the card lapse.
I am being charged on an unexpected day of the month
GAİN bills on the day of each month corresponding to the day the contract was formed, not on a fixed date. If you subscribed on the 23rd, that is your renewal day. The contract also says GAİN invoices on that day and sends the invoice to your registered email within seven days, so the invoice email is a useful check on when the cycle actually turns.
I cannot find GAİN in my subscriptions list outside Turkey
The GAİN app is published for the Turkish stores by a Turkish company, and the subscription is priced in Turkish lira. A store account registered to another country will not list it. Look instead at the account that actually made the purchase, or at a direct card charge from GAİN.

GOOD TO KNOW
Questions, answered.
How do I cancel GAİN Premium?
On gain.tv, open the Hesabım menu and click the Abonelik İptali button, then follow the instructions shown. If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, cancel in that store's subscription settings instead.
Is there a commitment or an early exit fee on GAİN?
No. GAİN says the Premium subscription requires no commitment, that the package period is monthly, and that no early termination fee is charged if you cancel.
Will GAİN refund the rest of the month if I cancel early?
No. GAİN's FAQ says that if you cancel before your subscription period ends, no refund can be made for the remaining time, and you can keep watching Premium content until the renewal day.
How much is GAİN Premium and when am I charged?
GAİN's subscription contract sets the fee at 249 Turkish lira including VAT per month, and says it is collected on the day of each month corresponding to the day the contract was formed. The Turkish App Store listing shows the same 249 lira monthly price for the in-app subscription.
How many devices does GAİN allow?
GAİN says the account can be used actively on 3 different devices at the same time, over a single IP address. This is unrelated to cancelling, but it is a common reason people think a second subscription exists when they are hitting a device limit.
Does deleting the GAİN app cancel my subscription?
No. Removing the app leaves the subscription running with whoever bills you, whether that is GAİN directly or an app store. Cancel it in the right place instead.
