Cancel your subscription.
On iPhone or iPad
Use the Apple Account associated with the purchase.
- Open Settings and tap your name.
- Open Subscriptions and select the plan.
- Tap Cancel Subscription.
An expiration message or no Cancel button indicates an already-cancelled subscription.
On a Mac
Open the App Store and sign in if necessary.
- Click your name in the sidebar, then again on the account page.
- Choose Subscriptions and select the subscription.
- Click Cancel Subscription.
Without your Apple device
Apple also offers subscription management on the web.
- Open account.apple.com and sign in.
- Follow the subscription-management instructions.
Before you cancel.
- Find the Apple receipt and check which Apple Account was charged.
- For a free trial you do not want renewed, Apple advises cancelling at least 24 hours before it ends.
What happens next?
- Check the subscription’s status and displayed end date.

How do I cancel an App Store free trial before I’m charged?
For a trial billed by Apple, open Settings on your iPhone or iPad, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Select the trial, choose the cancellation option and confirm. Apple advises cancelling at least 24 hours before the trial ends to prevent renewal. Check the confirmation for your access end date. Add the trial deadline to Subex and set a reminder so you can review it in time.
Why is my subscription missing?
Check the Apple Account on your receipt. If another company bills you, cancel with that company instead.
Can I cancel a family member’s subscription?
The family member whose Apple Account appears on the receipt must cancel it.
