GOOD TO KNOW

Questions, answered.

How do I cancel a subscription?

Find your service, check who bills you, and follow the cancellation process in that account. Your receipt is a useful starting point: the payment may come from the service itself, an app store, or a separate provider.

Can I cancel subscriptions on my iPhone or Android phone?

Yes. For purchases billed by Apple, use your Apple subscription settings. For purchases billed by Google Play, use Google Play subscriptions. A subscription bought on a website may need to be managed there, even if you use its mobile app.

Does Subex need my password?

No. These guides do not collect your login details. When a guide sends you to a provider, sign in directly on that provider’s website or app.

Is cancelling the same as deleting my account?

Not necessarily. Stopping a recurring payment, removing an app and deleting an account are different actions. Check the service’s instructions and keep the cancellation confirmation before assuming billing has stopped.
