Ask for your money back.
Before the window shuts.
A refund goes to whoever took the payment, not to the app you were using. Find your service, check whether you still qualify, and follow the right request.

Not listed? Most subscriptions are not refundable once the period has started: they simply run to the end of what you paid for. Cancelling stops the next charge.
FROM CHARGE TO CLAIM
How a refund works.
- 01
Read the receipt
It names the company that holds your money. That is who decides, and it is often a store rather than the service itself.
- 02
Check the window
Deadlines differ sharply by channel, and some close before the charge rather than after it. This is the part that expires.
- 03
Ask, then cancel too
A refund returns one charge. If you do not want the next one, cancel as well and keep both confirmations.
GOOD TO KNOW
Questions, answered.
Who do I ask for a refund?
Whoever took the money, which your receipt names. A charge from Apple is refunded by Apple, a charge from Google Play by Google, and a charge from the company itself by that company. The app you were using does not decide.
Is cancelling the same as getting a refund?
No. Cancelling stops the next charge and a refund returns one already taken. They are separate requests, and doing one does not do the other.
Why is my service not listed here?
Because most subscriptions have no refund path. They run to the end of the period you paid for, and there is nothing to request. We publish a refund guide only where a real process exists.
How long do I have to ask?
It depends entirely on who billed you, and this is the part worth checking first. Google Play gives 48 hours before passing the decision to the developer. Apple publishes no deadline. A service billing you directly sets its own, and some deadlines fall before the charge rather than after it.
