How to cancel Peacock subscription.

This is Peacock's route for anyone who pays Peacock directly. Peacock's terms point to the same place: log in to your account and follow the instructions on your account details page.

1. Log in to your Peacock account.
2. Select Cancel All Subscriptions. Peacock states this cancels your base plan (Select, Premium or Premium Plus) and all add-ons.
3. Follow the steps until you see a confirmation message on screen.
4. Look for the confirmation email, which Peacock states may take a few hours to arrive.
5. Note the end of your current term: Peacock states the plan will not renew after it.

If you cannot log in to cancel, Peacock states you can cancel via chat in its Help Center. If there is no Cancel All Subscriptions option, a third party probably bills you.

For someone who wants to keep Peacock but stop an add-on such as a regional sports network. Peacock states you must have a base plan to subscribe to any add-on.

1. Log in to your Peacock account.
2. On the Subscriptions tab, select the add-on you want to cancel.
3. Select Remove Add-On.
4. Follow the steps until you see a confirmation message. Peacock states the add-on will not renew at the end of its current term.

Peacock's terms state that an add-on whose billing date or term differs from the base plan keeps being billed until the base plan's term expires unless you cancel the add-on separately.

Peacock sells subscriptions inside its iPhone and iPad app, and a signup there puts Apple in charge. Peacock states it does not have the ability to cancel a plan a third party bills.

1. Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad and tap your name.
2. Tap Subscriptions.
3. Tap the Peacock subscription.
4. Tap Cancel Subscription. If there is no Cancel button or you see an expiration message in red text, Apple states it is already cancelled.

If Peacock is missing from the list, you are signed in with a different Apple Account from the one that paid.

A signup made in the Peacock app on an Android phone or tablet is billed by Google Play.

1. Open the Google Play Store app.
2. Tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
3. Select Peacock.
4. Select Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.

Uninstalling the Peacock app does not cancel a Google Play subscription.

A signup made on a Roku or a Fire TV device belongs to that company, and Peacock lists both among the third parties you contact to cancel.

1. Roku: go to my.roku.com/subscriptions, select Peacock under Active subscriptions, select Manage subscription, then select Turn off auto-renew.
2. Roku on the TV: press Home, highlight the Peacock app, press the Star button, select Manage subscription, then select Turn off auto-renew.
3. Amazon: go to Your Memberships and Subscriptions on amazon.com, find Peacock, select Manage Subscription, then select Cancel Subscription under Advanced Controls.
4. Keep the Roku or Amazon confirmation, since Peacock will have no record of a cancellation it did not process.

Peacock is sold or included with several provider plans. Peacock's cancellation article lists DIRECTV Satellite, DIRECTV Stream, Spectrum, Verizon, Xfinity and Xumo TV among the third parties you contact.

1. Check your provider bill, or the Payment Method shown under the Subscriptions tab of your Peacock account, to confirm the provider bills you.
2. Sign in to that provider's account and remove Peacock from the plan or add-ons section, or contact the provider.
3. If Peacock came included with something you bought from the provider, Peacock states you must contact that provider directly to cancel.
4. Keep the provider's confirmation.

Peacock states that if you cannot activate a new Peacock subscription through a provider because you already have one, you must first cancel the existing subscription and wait until it fully lapses.

Apple and NBCUniversal sell Apple TV and Peacock together in the United States. Where you cancel it depends on who bills the bundle.

1. Check your receipt. A bundle bought from Peacock is billed by Peacock, one bought from Apple is billed by Apple.
2. Peacock billing: Apple states you unsubscribe by managing the bundled subscription through Peacock, so log in to your Peacock account and cancel there.
3. Apple billing: open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions and cancel the bundle there.
4. Check afterwards that both Apple TV and Peacock show an end date.

Apple's announcement states the bundle cannot be purchased on third-party device partners, so it is billed by Apple or Peacock rather than by a Roku or an Amazon device.
