Before you start.
- Work out which channel sold you the package, because tabii says the cancellation has to happen there. It names two: a card payment made after signing in on tabii.com, and an in-app purchase through the App Store or Google Play.
- tabii is TRT's global platform and the plan you hold depends on where you are. In Türkiye the tiers are Free and Premium, and tabii quotes the Türkiye Premium price at 99 Turkish lira a month with no annual commitment. Outside Türkiye the tiers are Basic and Premium, and the App Store listing shows separate items including Premium, Basic and a monthly plan labelled Reklam İçerir (contains ads).
- tabii says the package period is monthly and renews automatically. Its wording is that as long as you have not cancelled your payment instruction, closed your card to payment, or cancelled your package, the package fee is reflected to you every month.
- Account deletion is not cancellation, and the two live in different places. tabii's English FAQ says account deletion can only be completed through the mobile app, under Profile, Account Information, Delete my account. Cancel the subscription first, because deleting an account does not by itself stop a charge held by Apple or Google.
- tabii is geographically restricted. It publishes a list of roughly fifty countries where it is available, and notes that TRT live broadcasts and some sports rights vary by region, with World Cup matches watchable only inside Türkiye. A plan bought in one country is not automatically usable in another.
- Commercial subscriptions are a separate product with different rules. tabii says commercial subscriptions are sold seasonally through an authorised sales partner, expire automatically at the end of the season, and carry no refund even if the package was unused or the business closed.
FOLLOW THE RIGHT BILLING ROUTE
Cancel tabii, step by step.
Cancel on the tabii website
This is the route for a package bought with a card after signing in on tabii.com. tabii publishes the exact five steps, and they are the same screens in both languages.
- Go to www.tabii.com and sign in to the account that holds the package.
- Open Profile (Profil).
- Open Account (Hesap).
- Choose Manage your subscription (Aboneliğini Yönet).
- Choose Cancel subscription (Aboneliği İptal Et).
- Confirm with Cancel my subscription anyway (Aboneliğimi Yine de İptal Et).
tabii's instruction is that the cancellation must be made on the channel where the package was purchased, so this route only ends a package bought on the website.
Cancel a Google Play subscription
tabii sells in-app packages through Google Play, and says cancellation for those is made through your account in the app store rather than on tabii.com.
- Open the Google Play Store app on the Android device you subscribed on.
- Tap your profile icon in the top right.
- Select Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Select the tabii subscription.
- Tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts to confirm.
Google states that it cannot cancel a subscription on your behalf: the account holder has to complete this themselves.
Cancel an App Store subscription
The tabii App Store listing carries several in-app subscriptions, including Premium, Basic and a monthly plan labelled Reklam İçerir, so an iOS purchase is billed by Apple.
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap your name at the top of the screen.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Select the tabii subscription. Check which one: the listing sells more than one tier, and only the one you hold will appear.
- Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.
If tabii is not listed, you are signed in with a different Apple Account than the one that paid, or the package was bought on the website instead.
What happens next?
- Cancelling stops the automatic monthly renewal. tabii's wording is that the package renews automatically every month unless cancelled, so ending it prevents the next charge.
- Cancelling the package does not delete the account. The free tier remains, which in Türkiye gives TRT content and TRT live channels with ads, and outside Türkiye depends on regional licensing.
- Deleting the account is a separate action. tabii's English FAQ says it can only be done through the mobile app, at Profile, Account Information, Delete my account, while the Turkish FAQ describes doing it through either the app or the website under Profil, Hesap Bilgileri or Hesap Ayarları, then Hesabımı Sil.
- A commercial subscription is not refunded. tabii says no refund is provided even if the package has not been used, or if the business is closed or transferred.

There is no cancel option on tabii.com and I am still being charged
That points at a store-bought package. tabii's rule is that cancellation happens on the channel where the package was bought, and a package purchased in the app through Google Play or the App Store is not cancellable on the website. Check whether the charge on your statement names Google or Apple, then cancel in that store's subscription settings.
I deleted my tabii account but the charges continued
Deleting the account and cancelling the subscription are two different actions, and tabii documents them separately. Where Apple or Google holds the subscription, the store keeps billing regardless of what happened to the tabii account, because the store's record is tied to your Apple Account or Google account rather than to tabii. Cancel in the store as well.
I moved country and the plan I paid for no longer works
tabii's plans and content differ by region. It publishes a list of the countries it serves, states that TRT live stream availability varies regionally because of licensing, and gives a concrete example: when there is a match on TRT 1 or TRT Spor, that broadcast can be closed to access from abroad. The subscription itself still renews, so if the service is no longer useful to you, cancel it rather than waiting for it to stop.
I was told to turn off my card instead of cancelling
tabii's own wording lists three separate things that stop the charge: cancelling the payment instruction, closing the card to payments, and cancelling the package. Blocking the card is the worst of the three, because the subscription record stays open and can resume when a working card appears. Cancel the package properly.
I run a business and streamed matches on an individual subscription
tabii treats this as a licensing violation rather than a billing question. It says individual subscriptions are for personal use only, that a commercial subscription is required for cafés, restaurants, hotels and similar businesses, that licensed use may be inspected by authorised companies, and that streaming without a commercial subscription may result in legal action. Cancelling the individual plan does not resolve it.

How do I cancel tabii Premium?
On the website: sign in at www.tabii.com and follow Profile, Account, Manage your subscription, Cancel subscription, then Cancel my subscription anyway. In the Turkish interface the same screens read Profil, Hesap, Aboneliğini Yönet, Aboneliği İptal Et, Aboneliğimi Yine de İptal Et. For an App Store or Google Play purchase, cancel through your account in that store.
Is there an annual commitment on tabii Premium?

How many devices can I use at once on tabii?
In Türkiye, tabii says Free users can watch on 1 device at a time and Premium users on 2. Outside Türkiye, Basic users can watch on 2 devices at a time and Premium users on 4.
Does cancelling tabii stop my access immediately?
