Do you qualify?
- Fitbod says refunds may be requested within ten calendar days of purchase by emailing support.
- Fitbod says that after the ten day window, the subscription purchase is final and you will no longer be eligible for a refund.
- The window runs from the purchase date rather than from when you stopped using the app.
- Charges taken by Apple or Google fall outside Fitbod's policy, because the money went to the store.
- Cancelling and refunding are separate requests: cancelling on its own returns nothing.
ASK WHOEVER TOOK THE MONEY
How to request a Fitbod refund.
Email Fitbod, for a Fitbod-billed purchase
This is the route Fitbod documents, and the only one its ten day window governs.
- Check your receipt to confirm Fitbod took the payment rather than Apple or Google.
- Confirm you are within ten calendar days of the purchase date.
- Email Fitbod support requesting a refund, giving the charge date, the amount and the account email address.
- Cancel the subscription at app.fitbod.me as well, since a refund request does not stop the renewal.
- Keep the reply in writing.
Fitbod describes the window as ten calendar days from purchase, so weekends count.
Ask Apple, for an App Store charge
Apple refunds Apple charges under its own policy, and Fitbod cannot reverse a payment it never received.
- Go to reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with the Apple Account that was charged.
- Find the Fitbod purchase.
- Choose the refund request option and give a reason.
- Submit and keep the reference.
- Cancel the subscription in iOS Settings separately.
Apple decides these case by case and can decline. Its window is its own rather than Fitbod's ten days.
Ask Google, for a Play charge
Google refunds Play charges. Use the Google Account that was billed.
- Open Google Play and find the Fitbod subscription in your order history.
- Use Google's refund request flow for that purchase.
- Give a reason and submit.
- Cancel the subscription in Play separately so it does not renew.
- Keep confirmation of both.
Google states it does not give refunds for most Play purchases, so treat this as a request.
What happens next?
- A refund does not cancel the subscription. Cancel it at app.fitbod.me or in the store as well, or it renews.
- Where a refund is granted it returns to the payment method that was charged, on that provider's timing.
- A declined request outside ten days matches Fitbod's stated policy rather than being an error.
- Note that cancelling a discounted subscription loses that rate, so returning later means paying current pricing.
WHEN THE ANSWER IS NO
If you are refused.
I asked for a refund on day twelve
That falls outside the window Fitbod describes. It says refunds may be requested within ten calendar days of purchase and that after that the purchase is final and you are no longer eligible. Cancel the renewal so the next cycle does not charge, keeping in mind that Fitbod says access continues to the final day of the billing cycle anyway.
Fitbod told me to contact Apple
That is correct when Apple took the payment. Apple holds the money for App Store purchases and handles refunds through reportaproblem.apple.com, so Fitbod cannot reverse it. Check the receipt: if it came from Apple, Fitbod's ten day rule does not apply to that charge at all.
I was charged after a trial I thought had not started
Fitbod describes the trial for new users as 3 free workouts rather than a fixed number of days, which catches people who expected a time-based trial to still be running. If the charge is within ten calendar days and Fitbod billed it, email support to request a refund. Cancel the subscription as well so it does not renew while that is considered.
I cannot find the charge in my Fitbod account
It usually means a different channel or a second account. Check the merchant name on your statement: Apple and Google charges will not appear inside your Fitbod plan page. If the charge is from Fitbod but nothing shows at app.fitbod.me, check which email address received the receipt and sign in with that one.
GOOD TO KNOW
Questions, answered.
How long do I have to request a Fitbod refund?
Fitbod says refunds may be requested within ten calendar days of purchase by emailing support, and that after that window the purchase is final.
How do I request a Fitbod refund?
By emailing Fitbod support within the ten calendar day window, giving the charge date and the account email. If Apple or Google billed you, the request goes to that store instead.
Does cancelling Fitbod refund the rest of my subscription?
No. Cancelling stops the renewal and, as Fitbod describes it, your membership remains active until the final day of the billing cycle. A refund is a separate request within ten days of purchase.
Who refunds a Fitbod subscription bought on an iPhone?
Apple, through reportaproblem.apple.com, under Apple's own rules. Fitbod's ten day policy covers purchases it billed directly.
