How to cancel Amazon Prime Video subscription.

This is the route Amazon documents for a Prime Video subscription that Amazon bills you for directly, without a Prime membership behind it.

1. Go to Manage Your Memberships & Subscriptions in your Amazon account.
2. Find the Prime Video subscription in the list.
3. Follow the cancellation option shown against it and work through the confirmation.
4. Check the account afterwards to confirm the subscription shows as ending rather than renewing.

Amazon states that any additional subscriptions tied to your Amazon Prime or Prime Video membership do not renew once your Amazon Prime membership ends. Prime Video Channels are the exception readers hit most often, so check those separately.

A channel such as Paramount+, Starz, Shudder, AMC+, discovery+, MGM+ or BritBox bought inside Prime Video is its own subscription on your Amazon bill. This is where most unexplained Amazon streaming charges come from, and the channel's own app or website cannot cancel it.
