How to cancel NFL+ subscription.

Use this only if you signed up directly on NFL.com. If a store billed you, this page will not show a cancel option for that plan.

1. Visit NFL.com and sign in, or go to the Account page if you are already signed in.
2. Click the arrow next to NFL Subscriptions to manage your subscription.
3. Within the Manage Subscriptions section, click the arrow next to Manage.
4. Click the Cancel button.
5. You get a message saying We're sorry to see you go. Select a reason why you are leaving and click Cancel.
6. Your subscription is cancelled and you are taken to a page that reads Miss you already. Click Back to My Account to return to your account settings.

The NFL states that if you cancel with time left on your billing period, you keep access through the end of that period, and cancelling stops the recurring charges so the subscription does not renew.

This is what most people actually want over an off-season. It is offered on monthly plans, and it has a sting in the tail worth reading before you use it.

1. Go to the Manage Subscriptions page in your NFL.com account.
2. Locate your active NFL+ plan and select Pause, then select Pause again to finalise.
3. Check the resume date the page shows you, because that is the date you will be billed again.

The NFL states the pause takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle, and that when the pause ends the subscription automatically resumes and you are automatically billed the then-current monthly fee. You get no access to NFL+ content while it is paused. You can cancel during the pause, and you can resume early by selecting Resume, which bills you immediately. A promotional rate does not pause: the NFL states that if the promotional period expires while you are paused, you are charged the then-current monthly fee when the subscription resumes.

Apple bills the plan if you subscribed inside the NFL app on an iPhone or iPad. The NFL states it cannot cancel these for you.

1. Open the Settings app.
2. Tap your name.
3. Tap Subscriptions.
4. Tap the subscription.
5. Tap Cancel Subscription. You might need to scroll down to find the Cancel Subscription button.

The NFL notes that if there is no Cancel button, or you see the expiration message in red text, the subscription is already cancelled.

Google bills the plan if you subscribed inside the NFL app on an Android device.

1. On your Android device, go to subscriptions in Google Play.
2. Select the subscription you want to cancel.
3. Tap Cancel subscription.
4. Follow the instructions.

Roku bills the plan if you subscribed through the NFL channel on a Roku device or at roku.com.

1. Sign in to my.roku.com and go to My subscriptions.
2. Under Active subscriptions, select the subscription you want to cancel.
3. Select Manage subscription, then select Turn off auto-renew.
4. On a Roku device instead: press Home, highlight the app, press the Star button, select Manage subscription, then select Turn off auto-renew.

The NFL states that turning off auto-renew means you have cancelled, and that you keep access until the end of the current billing cycle. If Manage subscription does not appear on the device, that subscription is not managed through Roku.

Amazon bills the plan if you subscribed on a Fire TV or Fire Stick.

1. Go to Your Memberships and Subscriptions in your Amazon account.
2. Select Manage Subscription next to the subscription you want to cancel.
3. Select the link under Advance Controls to open the main subscription page, and end the subscription from there.
