Before you start.
- Check who bills you. Rocket Money's help center refers to paid memberships held through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, and those are cancelled in the store rather than in Rocket Money.
- Cancel at least 3 business days before the next scheduled debit. Rocket Money's terms state that a request made later may not stop that debit.
- Cancelling Premium does not delete your account or end active bill negotiations, and notifications and emails continue unless you change your alert settings.
- Disconnecting a bank account or card does not cancel Premium. The membership has to be cancelled on its own.

Cancel Rocket Money, step by step.
Cancel Premium on the website
For a membership billed by Rocket Money itself. The price slider doubles as the cancel control.
- Sign in at app.rocketmoney.com.
- Open Settings on the left side and choose Membership.
- Click Manage in the upper right.
- Move the slider all the way to $0/month.
- Select Cancel Subscription and follow the prompts.
Moving the slider to a lower amount only changes your monthly price. The membership is cancelled only when you reach $0/month and complete Cancel Subscription.
Cancel Premium in the Rocket Money app
The same cancellation, from the mobile app.
- Open the Rocket Money app and go to Settings.
- Select Membership.
- Tap Manage Membership.
- Move the slider to $0/month.
- Tap Cancel Subscription and follow the prompts.
Premium billed by Apple or Google Play
A membership bought through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store is cancelled in that store's subscription settings.
- iPhone or iPad: open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, select Rocket Money and tap Cancel Subscription.
- Android: open the Google Play Store, tap your profile icon, go to Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions, select Rocket Money and tap Cancel subscription.
- Keep the store's confirmation and the date your access ends.
If Rocket Money is missing from the store list, check the receipt: the subscription may be on another Apple Account or Google Account, or billed by Rocket Money directly.
What happens next?
- Premium features stay available until the end of your billing cycle, when the cancellation takes effect.
- Your Rocket Money account remains. Deleting it is a separate step under Settings, then Profile, and it permanently erases your Rocket Money data.
- Active bill negotiations stay in place after you cancel Premium.
- Notifications and emails continue until you change your alert settings.

I lowered the price but I am still being charged
The slider sets your monthly price. To cancel, move it all the way to $0/month and then select Cancel Subscription, following the prompts to the end.
I paid through Apple or Google and the Rocket Money steps do not stop it
A store-billed membership is controlled by the store. Cancel it in iPhone Settings under Subscriptions, or in Google Play under Payments & subscriptions.
I cancelled just before the renewal and was still charged
Rocket Money's terms ask for notice at least 3 business days before the next scheduled debit. A cancellation made inside that window may not stop that debit; contact support with the date you cancelled.
I want to cancel my free trial
Rocket Money's help center does not describe a separate trial cancellation. Use the Membership steps for whoever bills you, or ask support through in-app chat or support@rocketmoney.com.

How do I cancel my Rocket Money subscription?
On the website: Settings, Membership, Manage, move the slider to $0/month, then Cancel Subscription. In the app: Settings, Membership, Manage Membership, the same slider, then Cancel Subscription. If Apple or Google Play bills you, cancel in that store.
Does cancelling Premium delete my Rocket Money account?
No. Cancelling ends Premium at the end of the billing cycle, but the account stays. Deleting it is a separate action.
How do I delete my Rocket Money account?
In the app: Settings, Profile, scroll to the bottom, tap Delete My Account and confirm with Yes, I'm Sure. On the website: Settings, Profile, scroll to the bottom and click Delete Rocket Money Account twice. Rocket Money advises cancelling Premium, active bill negotiations and financial goals first, and deletion cannot be undone.
What happens to bill negotiations if I cancel Premium?
Rocket Money states that any active bill negotiations stay in place after you cancel.
Does disconnecting my bank cancel Rocket Money Premium?
No. Rocket Money states that disconnecting a bank account will not cancel your Premium subscription. Cancel the membership itself.
