Before you start.
- Expect a store to be holding your billing. 18Birdies names the Apple App Store and Google Play as the billing providers and documents no web cancellation route of its own.

- Check which account paid. A subscription bought on one Apple Account or Google Account will not appear when you are signed in to another, which is the usual reason it looks missing.
- Cancel ahead of the renewal date rather than on it, so the store registers the cancellation before the charge is queued.
- Deleting the app does not cancel anything, because the subscription belongs to the store account rather than to the app on your phone.

Cancel 18Birdies, step by step.
Start from the 18Birdies app
18Birdies documents an in-app path that takes you to the right store screen, which saves working out which store holds your billing.
- Open 18Birdies.
- Tap Me on the bottom menu.
- Tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.
- Tap Premium Membership.
- Tap Manage Subscription, then complete the cancellation in the store screen this opens.
The app hands you over rather than cancelling itself. Closing the store screen before confirming leaves the subscription running.
Cancel an Apple-billed 18Birdies subscription
Use this if the App Store took the payment. Apple holds the billing and only Apple can stop it.
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Select 18Birdies.
- Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.
If 18Birdies is not listed, check you are signed in with the Apple Account that paid, or the subscription came through Google Play instead.
Cancel a Google Play-billed 18Birdies subscription
Use this if Google Play took the payment, which is the case for subscriptions started in the Android app.
- Open the Google Play Store.
- Tap your profile icon.
- Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Select 18Birdies.
- Tap Cancel subscription and follow the confirmation steps.
Use the Google Account that made the purchase. Another account will not list the subscription.
What happens next?
- Access normally runs to the end of the period the store has already charged you for, rather than stopping on the day you cancel.
- 18Birdies says cancelling a subscription does not automatically request a refund, so the last charge is a separate matter from ending the plan.
- Refund requests go to the store. 18Birdies points to reportaproblem.apple.com for Apple and to Google Play's own refund process, and says eligibility and approval are determined by Apple or Google Play.
- Your rounds, scores and course history stay with the 18Birdies account. Cancelling ends the Premium subscription rather than deleting the account.
- The free version of the app continues to work after the Premium period ends.

I cancelled but no refund arrived
18Birdies states the reason directly: cancelling a subscription does not automatically request a refund. Cancelling stops the next charge, nothing more. If you want the last payment back, submit a refund request separately to whichever store billed you, through reportaproblem.apple.com for Apple or Google Play's refund process for Google. 18Birdies says eligibility and approval are determined by Apple or Google Play rather than by 18Birdies.
18Birdies is not in my subscriptions list
Almost always a wrong-account problem. Store subscriptions attach to the Apple Account or Google Account that made the purchase, so signing in with a newer address hides it. Check which account received the purchase receipt and sign in with that one. It is also worth checking the other store, since the same person may have subscribed on a previous phone running the other platform.
I deleted the app and I am still being billed
Uninstalling never cancels a store subscription on either platform, because the billing sits with Apple or Google rather than with the app. Go straight to the store: Settings, your name, Subscriptions on iOS, or the Play Store under Payments & subscriptions on Android. You do not need to reinstall 18Birdies to cancel it.
The Manage Subscription button does not do anything
That button is a shortcut into the store rather than a cancellation control, so if the handover fails, go to the store yourself. Open iOS Settings under your name and Subscriptions, or the Play Store under Payments & subscriptions and Subscriptions. The outcome is identical, since the store is where the cancellation has to be confirmed either way.
I was charged after my free trial
A trial is a subscription with a delayed first charge, so it converts unless cancelled in the store before the trial ends. Cancel it in Apple's or Google's subscription list, where you usually keep the remainder of the trial after cancelling. For the charge itself, 18Birdies directs refund requests to the store, since it says approval is determined by Apple or Google Play.
