HEALTH & FITNESSSubscription cancellation guide

How to cancel Flo subscription.

Flo says the steps depend on whether you signed up on its website at app.flo.health or through a store. If Apple billed you, open Settings, tap your name, select Subscriptions, find Flo and tap Cancel Subscription at the bottom. If Google billed you, open the Google Play Store app, tap your profile icon at the top right, tap Payments & subscriptions then Subscriptions, select Flo and tap Cancel subscription. For a web subscription, Flo documents opening the app, tapping your Profile icon, tapping the See your Premium benefits cell to enter the Subscription Hub, then Manage Subscription. Flo says to cancel at least 24 hours before your trial or current period ends, and that your data will not be deleted if you cancel.

Before you start.

  • Check your receipt to see who charged you. Flo says that if the subscription was made through Google your receipt will explicitly mention Google Play, and for web subscriptions to look for Flo Health or Stripe on the receipt.
  • Cancel at least 24 hours ahead. Flo states this for both the Android and iOS routes: cancel at least 24 hours before your trial or billing period ends to avoid being charged.
  • Your health data is not at risk. Flo says your data will not be deleted if you cancel your subscription and that you can continue using the free version of Flo.
  • Cancelling is not a refund. Flo states that cancelling a subscription does not automatically trigger a refund, and points to its separate refund articles for Apple and for Flo-billed purchases.
  • If you paid with an FSA or HSA, note Flo's point that if you have already been reimbursed by your FSA or HSA provider, you are responsible for returning the refund to them.
  • Keep the transaction ID if you may need support. For Google purchases Flo asks for the transaction ID, which looks like GPA followed by a series of digits and appears on your receipt.

FOLLOW THE RIGHT BILLING ROUTE

Cancel Flo, step by step.

Cancel an Apple-billed Flo subscription

Flo says that because your payment was handled by Apple, Apple requires you to manage the cancellation within your iPhone or iPad settings.

  1. Open the Settings app on your device.
  2. Tap your name at the very top.
  3. Select Subscriptions.
  4. Find Flo in the list and tap it.
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription at the bottom.

Flo notes you can also go straight to your subscription list at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions from the device itself.

Cancel a Google Play-billed Flo subscription

Use this if your receipt mentions Google Play, which Flo says is how you tell that Google handled the purchase.

  1. Open the Google Play Store app.
  2. Tap your profile icon at the top right.
  3. Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
  4. Select the subscription you want to cancel.
  5. Tap Cancel subscription and follow the remaining on-screen instructions.

Flo says to make sure you cancel at least 24 hours before your trial or billing period ends to avoid being charged.

Cancel a Flo web subscription

Flo documents this route for subscriptions bought directly on app.flo.health, where the receipt shows Flo Health or Stripe.

  1. Open Flo and tap your Profile icon at the top left.
  2. Tap the See your Premium benefits cell to enter the Subscription Hub.
  3. Tap Manage Subscription.
  4. Follow the prompts to cancel your plan.
  5. Alternatively, visit Flo's website in a browser, log in, tap your Profile icon, choose Subscriptions and follow the prompts to cancel.

Flo says these steps are only for subscriptions purchased on the Flo website. A store subscription has to be cancelled in that store.

Ask Flo support to cancel

Flo documents a support route for cases where the self-service options do not work, and tells you what to include so it can be handled quickly.

  1. Find the confirmation email Flo Health sent you after you subscribed.
  2. Note the specific email address you used to purchase the subscription.
  3. Contact the support team using the Contact us button in the bottom-left corner of Flo's help pages.
  4. Include the email address associated with your Flo Premium subscription and a copy of the receipt if you have it.
  5. For a Google purchase, include the transaction ID, which begins with GPA.

Support can help with Flo-billed subscriptions. An Apple-billed subscription still has to be cancelled through Apple.

What happens next?

  • Flo says your data will not be deleted if you cancel your subscription, and that you can continue using the free version of Flo.
  • Access normally runs to the end of the period you have paid for rather than ending the moment you cancel.
  • Cancelling does not refund you. Flo states that cancelling a subscription does not automatically trigger a refund, and directs people to its refund articles if they have already been charged.
  • The free version keeps the cycle tracking itself. What stops is the Premium content layered on top.
  • If the subscription was reimbursed through an FSA or HSA, Flo says that if you have already been reimbursed by your provider, you are responsible for returning the refund to them.

WHEN IT DOES NOT WORK

If you get stuck.

I cannot find Flo in my Apple or Google subscriptions

Check the receipt rather than the app. Flo says a Google purchase receipt will explicitly mention Google Play, and that a web subscription shows Flo Health or Stripe. A subscription bought on app.flo.health will never appear in a store list, which is the usual reason it seems to be missing. It can also mean you are signed in to a different Apple Account or Google Account from the one that paid.

I cancelled and was charged anyway

Flo's stated deadline is the thing to check: it says to cancel at least 24 hours before your trial or billing period ends to avoid being charged. A cancellation on the final day can land after the renewal is queued. Flo also notes that cancelling does not automatically trigger a refund, so if the charge stands, a refund is a separate request to whoever took the payment.

Will my cycle data be deleted if I cancel?

No. Flo says your data will not be deleted if you cancel your subscription and that you can continue using the free version. Cancelling Premium and deleting your Flo account are separate actions, and only the second one removes your logged data.

My trial converted before I could cancel

Flo's 24 hour rule covers trials as well as billing periods, so a trial cancelled inside the last day can still convert. Once charged, cancelling stops the next renewal but does not undo the payment. Flo points to its refund articles for the specific steps required by Apple or by Flo, depending on who billed you.

I paid with an FSA or HSA and now want to cancel

Flo documents this as its own case. It directs you to the regular refund instructions for the channel that billed you, App Store, Google Play or the flo.health website, and adds that if you have already been reimbursed by your FSA or HSA provider, you are responsible for returning the refund to them.
