Before you start.
- Decide whether you want a refund before you download anything. Artlist refunds payments made within the last 14 days only if no assets have been downloaded, generated or used in a project, and this applies to renewals too.
- Add any projects using Artlist assets to the clearlist while the plan is active. Artlist states projects must be added while the plan is active to remain covered.
- Artlist bills up front for the whole cycle, and monthly billing exists only for the Music & SFX Social and AI Suite plans. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not shorten a year you already paid for.
- Artlist's free Trial has no time limit and never converts into a paid plan, so there is nothing to cancel if you never subscribed.

Cancel renewal in your Artlist account
Artlist is billed on its website by card, PayPal, Google Pay or Apple Pay, so this is the route for every self-serve plan.
- Sign in to Artlist and click the avatar icon at the top right.
- In the account menu, select My Account.
- Click Billing.
- Under Billing, click the more icon and select Subscription details.
- Click Cancel renewal and follow the on-screen steps to confirm.
Change plan sits next to Cancel renewal and only schedules a downgrade at your next renewal. It does not stop billing.
Request a refund inside 14 days
Artlist handles refunds through its contact form rather than a button, and only for payments in the last 14 days with no assets downloaded, generated or used.
- Open Artlist's Help Center and use Contact us.
- Give the name and email address on the account.
- Add the payment details: the name on the payment method and the last 4 digits and expiry date of the card, or your PayPal email.
- Attach a copy of the invoice and any relevant screenshots.
- Wait for Artlist's reply by email.
Artlist states a refunded account automatically reverts to Trial once the refund is processed.
What happens next?
- The plan stays active until the end of the current billing period, then expires without renewing.
- Once the plan expires, the license no longer covers use of downloaded stock assets in new or published projects.
- You can turn renewal back on from the avatar menu with Turn renewal on, which removes the cancellation immediately.
- Cancelling does not delete the account. Artlist does not allow deletion while a subscription is active; once it has expired, contact Artlist to delete the account.

Do I need to cancel the Artlist free Trial?
No. Artlist states the free Trial has no time limit and never converts into a paid subscription.

I clicked Change plan and I am still being charged
Change plan schedules a downgrade at your next renewal; it does not cancel. Go back to My Account, Billing, Subscription details and choose Cancel renewal instead.
Artlist renewed and I want my money back
Artlist refunds a renewal if it was within the last 14 days and you have not downloaded, generated or used any assets since. Past 14 days, or after any download, the renewal is not refundable. Request it through Contact us with your invoice and payment details.
I see an Artlist charge but have no account
Artlist states charges from Artlist Inc. can also come from Motion Array, an affiliated platform it owns, which has its own support team. Otherwise check with colleagues in case someone else signed up, then contact Artlist with the charge amount, date and the last 4 digits of the card.
I see a duplicate Artlist payment
Artlist states that Google Pay and Apple Pay can show a temporary pre-authorization that is voided automatically and never collected. Your bank can confirm whether the second amount was captured.

How do I cancel my Artlist subscription?
Click your avatar, then My Account, Billing, the more icon, and Subscription details. Click Cancel renewal and confirm. Your plan stays active until the current billing period ends.
How do I cancel Artlist auto-renewal?
Cancelling renewal is the cancellation: Artlist plans renew automatically at the start of each cycle, and Cancel renewal under Subscription details stops the next one.
Can I get a refund from Artlist?
Only for a payment made within the last 14 days, new or renewal, and only if no assets have been downloaded, generated or used in a project. Contact Artlist with your account and payment details to request it.
Can I delete my Artlist account?
Not while a subscription is active. Cancel renewal, wait for the plan to expire and the account to return to Trial, then contact Artlist to delete it. Deletion is permanent.
Can I still use music I downloaded after cancelling?
Artlist states that once the plan expires the license no longer covers downloaded stock assets in new or published projects, and that projects must be added to the clearlist while the plan is active.
