Before you start.
- Cancel before you delete the profile. Bumble states that deleting your account does not automatically cancel the subscription, and its help pages tell you to manage it through the app store or on Bumble first, depending on how you subscribed.
- Check the receipt to find who bills you. An email from Apple or Google means that store controls the cancellation and Bumble support cannot stop it for you. A charge that appears as Bumble itself points to the card or PayPal route.
- Bumble states that a subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date, so leaving it until the day itself costs another period.
- Know which product you are cancelling. Bumble sells Boost and Premium as separate subscriptions, and holding both means two entries to cancel rather than one.
- Coins, SuperSwipes and Spotlights are one-off purchases, not the subscription. Cancelling Premium or Boost does not remove them and does not refund them.

Cancel Bumble, step by step.
Cancel on iPhone or iPad
Apple bills the subscription when you subscribed in the iOS app. Bumble states that a purchase made through a third-party store has to be changed or cancelled through that store's own account.
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap your name (your Apple Account) at the top of the screen.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Select Bumble to see the active plan, its start date and its renewal date.
- Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.
Bumble Boost and Bumble Premium appear as separate entries if you hold both. Cancelling one does not stop the other, so check the whole list before leaving the screen.
Cancel on Android
Google Play bills the subscription when you subscribed in the Android app, and Google is the only party that can stop it.
- Open the Google Play Store app.
- Tap your profile icon in the top right.
- Select Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Tap your Bumble subscription.
- Tap Cancel and follow the prompts to confirm.
Google states that it cannot cancel a subscription on your behalf, the account holder has to complete this. If Bumble is missing from the list, you are signed in with a different Google account than the one that paid.
Cancel a card, PayPal or Bumble Web purchase
Bumble bills you directly when the subscription was bought from Bumble rather than through a store. Bumble states that in this case you can cancel or change your payment method through the payment settings option under your profile.
- Open Bumble and go to your profile.
- Open the settings for your profile and find the payment or subscription settings section.
- Select the active subscription you want to stop.
- Choose the cancellation option and work through every prompt until a confirmation appears.
- Keep the confirmation, and check that the renewal date has been replaced by an expiry date.
Bumble states that if you cannot access Bumble to cancel the subscription yourself, its support team can help. That matters most when the profile is already deleted.
What happens next?
- Bumble states that cancelling stops the next renewal and that you usually keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Deleting the Bumble profile is a separate action. Do it after the cancellation is confirmed, because a deleted account removes the in-app route while leaving a store subscription untouched.
- Coins, SuperSwipes and Spotlights are bought outright rather than included in the plan. They survive the cancellation and are not refunded by it.
- Bumble states that a refund for an Apple purchase is handled by Apple rather than by Bumble, and that a Google purchase outside the US is handled by Google. For a card, PayPal or Bumble Web payment Bumble asks you to contact its support team.
- Bumble notes that if Apple or Google approve a refund you may lose access immediately, which is different from cancelling and running out the paid period.
Cancelling a Bumble free trial.
How do I cancel a Google Play free trial before it renews?
Open your subscriptions in Google Play using the Google Account that started the trial. Select the plan, choose Cancel subscription and complete the confirmation steps before the trial expires. Otherwise, the paid subscription begins automatically under the offer’s terms. Uninstalling the app does not stop renewal. If you track it in Subex, enter the date the trial converts as the renewal date and set a reminder 1 or 3 days before.

I deleted my Bumble account and the charges continue
Bumble states directly that deleting your account will not automatically cancel the subscription. The plan is held by Apple or Google Play, which never saw the profile deletion, so it keeps renewing. Open Subscriptions on your iPhone or in the Play Store and cancel the Bumble entry there: it remains listed even with the dating account gone. If Bumble billed you by card or PayPal, there is no store entry to find, and Bumble states its support team can cancel for you when you cannot access the app.
I cancelled Premium but Boost is still charging me
Bumble sells Boost and Premium as separate subscriptions, so holding both produces two entries in your store subscriptions list and two charges. Cancelling one leaves the other running. Go back to the subscriptions screen and check the full list rather than only the plan you remember buying.
Bumble is not in my store subscriptions list
The list only shows what the signed-in account bought. Check which email address the receipt went to, as a second Apple ID or Google account is the usual explanation. If no store receipt exists at all, the payment went to Bumble directly by card or PayPal, and it is managed in the payment settings under your Bumble profile instead.
Removing my card did not stop the subscription
Unlinking a payment card does not cancel a Bumble subscription, it only removes a way to pay. The plan stays active and the charge can still be retried or fall to another payment method on file. Cancel the subscription itself through the store that sold it or through Bumble's payment settings, and check for an expiry date afterwards.
I was charged the day after I cancelled
Bumble states that a subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. A cancellation inside that window lands after the renewal has been processed, so the charge stands and the cancellation applies to the period after it. The refund request goes to whoever took the payment, and it is a separate request from the cancellation.

Does deleting my Bumble account cancel my subscription?
No. Bumble states that if you delete your Bumble account, your subscription will not automatically cancel, and that you need to manage it through your app store or on Bumble first. Cancel the subscription before deleting the profile.
How do I cancel Bumble Premium or Bumble Boost?
Through whoever bills you. On iPhone, Settings, your name, Subscriptions, then the Bumble entry. On Android, the Play Store under Payments & subscriptions. If you paid Bumble by card or PayPal, use the payment settings under your profile. Premium and Boost are separate subscriptions, so cancel each one you hold.
Do I keep Bumble Premium until the end of the month I paid for?
Bumble states that cancelling stops the next renewal and that you can usually keep access until the end of the period already paid for. An approved refund is different: Bumble notes that access may end immediately in that case.
What happens to my Bumble Coins and SuperSwipes?
They are one-off purchases rather than part of a subscription, so cancelling Premium or Boost does not consume, remove or refund them. Anything that arrived as a monthly allowance with your plan stops when the paid period ends.
