Before you start.
- Identify the channel. LandGlide names three: the Apple App Store, the Google Play Store, and directly through LandGlide.com. Only the last one is cancelled on LandGlide's own pages.
- Work to the 24 hour deadline. LandGlide states that at the end of each subscription duration the subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current duration.
- LandGlide states its trial runs seven days and that after you are done enjoying your 7-day trial you will be prompted to choose a monthly or yearly subscription, so it describes a prompt rather than an automatic enrolment. Users frequently report being charged during or immediately after the trial anyway, so treat the trial as though it converts and set a reminder rather than relying on the prompt.
- LandGlide publishes the post-trial prices as 9.99 dollars a month or 99.99 dollars a year, which is what to check against on your statement.
- Watch the middle tier. LandGlide's App Store listing also carries a three month subscription at 29.99 dollars, which is no cheaper per month than the monthly plan and is easy to pick by accident.
- There is no published refund policy. LandGlide's cancellation FAQ, purchase FAQ, pricing FAQ and terms of service contain no refund terms, so a refund depends on whichever store took the payment and its own rules.
- LandGlide states that as soon as you cancel the service, your right to use it stops at the end of the current subscription duration, so cancelling does not usually end access immediately.
- Export anything you need first. LandGlide's paid features include saved locations, notes, uploaded photos, exported data and downloaded offline maps, and it does not publish what happens to them when a subscription lapses.

Cancel a LandGlide.com subscription
A subscription bought on LandGlide.com is billed by LandGlide rather than a store, and this is the only channel it can cancel itself.
- Sign into LandGlide.com.
- Click the blue circle containing your initial at the bottom left.
- Go to the Current Plan section of the Account page.
- Select the cancel button and confirm the request.
- Check that the confirmation reads that you have successfully canceled your subscription.
LandGlide states that uninstalling an app will not automatically stop a paid subscription and that you must cancel a paid subscription to end it, so this step is what stops the charge rather than removing the app.
Cancel on iPhone or iPad
Apple bills an App Store purchase, and LandGlide links out to Apple for these rather than handling them itself.
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap your name at the top, which is your Apple Account.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Select LandGlide from the list.
- Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm, at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription duration.
LandGlide states that you may cancel at any time through your iTunes account, and that once you cancel, your right to use the service stops at the end of the current subscription duration.
Cancel on Android
Google Play bills a purchase made in the Android app, and LandGlide directs Android cancellations there.
- Open the Google Play Store app.
- Tap your profile icon in the top right.
- Select Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Select LandGlide.
- Tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.
- Confirm the entry now shows an expiry date rather than a renewal date.
LandGlide states you may cancel at any time through your Google Play account. Google states it cannot cancel a subscription on your behalf.
What happens next?
- LandGlide states that as soon as you cancel the service, your right to use it stops at the end of the current subscription duration, so the parcel data stays available for the period you paid for.
- The national parcel layer is what the subscription buys, so parcel boundaries and ownership information stop being available once the term ends.
- Saved locations, notes and uploaded photos are tied to the paid product. LandGlide does not publish what happens to them when a subscription lapses, which is a reason to export before the term ends.
- Downloaded offline maps stop being useful without the subscription, since the offline access is a paid feature rather than a permanent download.
- LandGlide publishes no refund policy across its cancellation FAQ, purchase FAQ, pricing FAQ or terms of service, so there is nothing to claim from LandGlide itself.
- A refund on a store purchase goes to Apple or Google under that store's own rules, and each can decline.

My 7 day trial charged me straight away
LandGlide's own position is that after the trial you will be prompted to choose a monthly or yearly subscription, but users report being charged on the first day or immediately after the trial. Check the store subscription entry rather than the app: it shows whether a subscription is active and when it renews. If a charge has landed and you did not intend it, the store that took it is the party to ask, since LandGlide publishes no refund policy of its own.
I cannot cancel my yearly subscription
Check which channel holds it before concluding it cannot be done. A LandGlide.com subscription is cancelled by signing in, clicking the blue circle containing your initial at the bottom left, opening the Current Plan section of the Account page and selecting cancel. A store subscription is cancelled in Apple's or Google's subscription settings, and neither can be stopped from inside the app.
I uninstalled the app and I am still being charged
LandGlide states this directly: uninstalling an app will not automatically stop a paid subscription, and you must cancel a paid subscription to end it. Reinstalling is not necessary, and the cancellation happens in the store subscription list or on LandGlide.com depending on who sold it.
LandGlide cut off my access early
Its terms state that once you cancel, your right to use the service stops at the end of the current subscription duration, so access should run out the paid term. If it ended sooner, take it to whoever billed you with the cancellation confirmation and the dates. LandGlide's terms also state it may cancel or suspend access for any reason, which is worth knowing before spending long on the dispute.
I am paying more than I expected each month
