Before you start.
- Work out where you subscribed. MadMuscles says the cancellation method depends on where you bought the subscription or started the free trial: its website, the App Store or Google Play. If it is not in your App Store or Google Play list, you most likely bought it on the website.
- Use the email you signed up with. The website account opens with an email login, and MadMuscles asks you to check that it is the address you used for the subscription.
- Cancel at least 24 hours before the next billing date. MadMuscles says it is unable to provide refunds for subscriptions that were not cancelled within that time.
- Check for two subscriptions. MadMuscles sells a workout program subscription and a separate premium subscription, each with its own cancel button, and cancelling one does not cancel the other.
- If you just subscribed, the cancel button may not be there yet. MadMuscles says subscription information can take up to 24 hours to sync before the button appears.
FOLLOW THE RIGHT BILLING ROUTE
Cancel Mad Muscles, step by step.
Cancel on the MadMuscles website
This is the route for any subscription or free trial started on the MadMuscles website. MadMuscles bills these itself, so they do not appear in your phone's subscription list.
- Go to madmuscles.com and open the top-right menu, then My account and My subscription. The top-right menu also has Support, then Cancel subscription.
- Enter the email associated with your account and press Continue.
- Review the subscription shown and click Cancel renewal.
- Select a reason for cancelling and complete the steps.
- Check that the account now shows No active subscriptions with the status Canceled, and look for the cancellation confirmation email.
If you see "Your subscription information is updated every few hours" and no cancel button, MadMuscles says to wait up to 24 hours for the button to appear. Leave enough time before your billing date.
Cancel on iPhone (App Store)
If you subscribed or started a free trial in the App Store, Apple bills it and MadMuscles says you alone can manage it from your Apple ID settings.
- Open Settings and tap your name.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap MadMuscles.
- Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm, at least 24 hours before the trial or period ends.
If MadMuscles is not listed, MadMuscles says you most likely bought it on its website. Use the website route.
Cancel on Android (Google Play)
If you subscribed or started a free trial in Google Play, cancel it in the Play Store with the Google Account that paid.
- Open the Google Play app and tap the profile icon at the top right.
- Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Select MadMuscles.
- Tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts, at least 24 hours before the trial or period ends.
Google says uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription.
What happens next?
- MadMuscles says you keep access to all subscription features for the rest of the current period, and lose access to the app's content once the subscription expires.
- MadMuscles says cancelling does not entitle you to a refund for charges already processed. For website purchases you can still ask: cancel first, then send a request through the contact form, and its Billing Team reviews it. App Store and Google Play refunds are requested from Apple or Google.
- If you accepted a subscription freeze, MadMuscles says the subscription resumes automatically when the pause ends, so cancel at least 24 hours before the next billing date if you do not want it to restart.
- Deleting your account is separate: Me tab, Account, Delete account. MadMuscles warns that this ends your access immediately but the subscription may remain active, so cancel first.

How do I cancel a MadMuscles free trial?
Cancel it where you started it, at least 24 hours before the free trial ends. MadMuscles says introductory periods are followed by a full membership at the standard price unless cancelled.
How do I cancel an App Store free trial before I’m charged?
For a trial billed by Apple, open Settings on your iPhone or iPad, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Select the trial, choose the cancellation option and confirm. Apple advises cancelling at least 24 hours before the trial ends to prevent renewal. Check the confirmation for your access end date. If you track it in Subex, enter the date the trial converts as the renewal date and set a reminder 1 or 3 days before.
How do I cancel a Google Play free trial before it renews?
Open your subscriptions in Google Play using the Google Account that started the trial. Select the plan, choose Cancel subscription and complete the confirmation steps before the trial expires. Otherwise, the paid subscription begins automatically under the offer’s terms. Uninstalling the app does not stop renewal. If you track it in Subex, enter the date the trial converts as the renewal date and set a reminder 1 or 3 days before.
WHEN IT DOES NOT WORK
If you get stuck.
There is no Cancel button in my MadMuscles account
MadMuscles says subscription data can take about 24 hours to sync, and shows the message "Your subscription information is updated every few hours" until it does. Wait and try again. If the account shows No active subscriptions and the status Canceled, the subscription is already cancelled; look for the confirmation email in your inbox and spam.
MadMuscles is not in my App Store or Google Play subscriptions
MadMuscles says that means you likely bought it directly on its website. Sign in at madmuscles.com through the top-right menu, My account, My subscription, using the email you signed up with, and click Cancel renewal.
I cancelled and was still charged
Check for a second subscription. MadMuscles sells a workout program subscription and a premium subscription separately, each with its own Cancel renewal button. Also check the timing: it asks for cancellation at least 24 hours before the billing date and says it cannot refund subscriptions not cancelled in time.
My subscription came back after a pause
MadMuscles says a paused subscription resumes automatically when the pause period ends. Cancel from your MadMuscles account by choosing Cancel my subscription at least 24 hours before the next billing date. If the button is missing in the first 24 hours of the pause, wait for the account to update.
I deleted my account and I am still being charged
MadMuscles says deleting the app, your account or unsubscribing from the newsletter does not cancel a subscription. Cancel on the website if you bought it there, or in the App Store or Google Play if you paid through a store, and contact support@madmuscles.com if you can no longer log in.
