Migraine Buddy documents an in-app path to your plan, which is the quickest way to reach the right store screen.
- Open Migraine Buddy.
- Tap the Menu icon.
- Tap MBplus, the Premium Migraine Buddy.
- Tap Check Plan.
- Complete the cancellation in the store screen this leads to.
The app routes you to the store rather than cancelling itself, so the cancellation only counts once the store confirms it.
Cancel an MBplus subscription on Android
Use this if Google Play took the payment, which is the case for subscriptions started on an Android device.
- Open the Google Play Store app.
- Tap your profile icon in the top right.
- Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Select Migraine Buddy.
- Tap Cancel subscription and follow the confirmation steps.
Migraine Buddy says Android refunds are managed by Google directly, so a refund request also belongs here rather than with the app's support.
Cancel an MBplus subscription on iOS
Use this if Apple took the payment. Apple holds the billing and only Apple can stop it.
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Select Migraine Buddy.
- Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.
Migraine Buddy says iOS refunds are managed by Apple directly, so refund requests go to Apple rather than to Migraine Buddy.
What happens next?
- Access normally continues to the end of the period the store has already charged for, rather than ending the day you cancel.
- Your logged migraine attacks, triggers and reports stay with the account. Cancelling MBplus ends the premium tier rather than deleting your records.
- Refunds are separate and are handled by the store. Migraine Buddy says it cannot issue refunds directly and that Apple and Google manage them for their own platforms.
- The free version of Migraine Buddy keeps working for recording attacks after the premium period ends.
- You can subscribe again later and the account history is still there.

I deleted the app and I am still being charged

The subscription belongs to the Apple Account or Google Account that bought it, not to the app on your handset. Look at which account received the receipt. If you have moved between an iPhone and an Android phone, check the other store as well, because the subscription remains on the platform it was bought on.
Check Plan does not take me anywhere useful
That path is a shortcut into the store rather than a cancellation control, so if the handover fails, go to the store directly. Open iOS Settings under your name and Subscriptions, or the Google Play Store under Payments & subscriptions and Subscriptions. The result is the same, since the store is where any MBplus cancellation has to be confirmed.
