In the Uber or Uber Eats app
Uber One is managed inside the app rather than on a billing website, and either app reaches the same membership.
- Open the Uber app or the Uber Eats app and tap the Account icon.
- Tap Uber One.
- Scroll down and tap Manage Membership.
- Select End membership, choose your reason and select Continue to cancel.
- Check the end date shown and keep the confirmation.
Uber says cancelling within the app up to 48 hours before the next scheduled payment avoids that charge, and that if you cancel less than 24 hours before the renewal day you may see a charge that is then automatically refunded.
Inside the 48-hour window
Uber directs members who are close to the renewal date to support rather than relying on the in-app flow alone.
- If your next payment is less than 48 hours away, contact Uber support through the Help section of the app.
- Explain that you want to end the Uber One membership before the renewal.
- Keep the support conversation and any confirmation Uber gives you about the charge.
Before you cancel.
- Check your next renewal date in the Uber One section of the app, and note Uber’s 48-hour guidance before you leave it to the last day.
- Note that Uber One covers both rides and Uber Eats benefits — cancelling ends both.
- If the membership came as a promotional or partner benefit, check who provided it before assuming the app controls the billing.
What happens next?
- Uber One benefits such as delivery-fee savings and ride credits stop when the membership ends. Check the end date the app shows at cancellation.
- Your Uber account, payment methods and order history are unaffected — cancelling the membership is not account deletion.
- Uber describes an automatic refund in the specific case of a charge taken when you cancel less than 24 hours before the renewal day. Any other refund is a separate request to Uber support.
