Before you start.
- Find the renewal date in the Uber One section of your account and count back 48 hours. Uber states the cancellation has to be at least 48 hours before renewal.
- Check which app holds it. Uber One covers both rides and Uber Eats on one account, so it can be cancelled from either app, and cancelling it ends the benefits on both.
- Check whether Uber One arrived through a partner or a card benefit rather than a direct purchase, because that is managed with the provider instead.
- If you are already inside the 48 hours, plan on contacting support rather than assuming the in-app flow will stop the charge.

Cancel in the Uber or Uber Eats app
This is the route Uber documents, and the same membership appears in both apps.
- Open the Uber app or the Uber Eats app, signed in with the account being charged.
- Go to Account and select Uber One.
- Select Manage Membership.
- Select End Membership.
- Choose why you are cancelling and tap Continue, then Continue again to confirm.
- Check that the Uber One section now shows an end date rather than a renewal date.
Uber states no penalties or fees apply for cancelling during the membership period. The only cost of waiting is the renewal itself.
Cancel in a browser
Uber states the membership can be cancelled by browser as well as by app, which is the fallback when the app will not load the membership page.
- Sign in to your Uber account in a browser with the account being charged.
- Open the Uber One membership section of your account.
- Use the option to manage the membership and then end it.
- Complete each confirmation step and check the membership shows an end date.
Contact Uber support
Uber states that if you miss the 48-hour deadline you need to contact support to complete the cancellation. This is also the route for a membership you did not mean to start.
- Open the help section in the Uber or Uber Eats app and find the Uber One articles.
- Use the contact option there to reach support about the membership.
- Say clearly that you want the membership ended and whether you are asking about a charge that has already been taken.
- Keep the conversation: in-app support messages remain in the help section as a record.
What happens next?
- If no refund is issued, the benefits stay active until the renewal date you already paid for, so the membership does not stop the moment you cancel.
- If a refund is issued, the position reverses: Uber states the benefits are discontinued immediately in that case.
- Uber One benefits apply to both rides and Uber Eats, so ending it removes the delivery fee benefit and the ride benefits together.
- Cancelling the membership does not cancel an order or a scheduled trip. Those are cancelled separately and can carry their own fees.
- Ending the membership does not close your Uber account, which keeps working for ordinary paid rides and orders.

I cancelled but was charged for another month
Check the gap between the cancellation and the renewal. Uber states automatic renewal has to be cancelled at least 48 hours before the renewal date, so a cancellation the day before still allows the charge. Inside that window the cancellation has to go through support, and an in-app attempt may not have completed.
The app will not let me complete the cancellation
This is the documented behaviour when you are inside the 48-hour window before renewal. Contact Uber support through the help section of the app and ask them to end the membership, rather than repeating the in-app flow.
I never signed up for Uber One
Uber One is frequently started from a free trial offered at checkout, which renews into a paid membership unless it is cancelled. Uber publishes a specific help article for an accidental subscription, so raise it with support on that basis rather than as an ordinary cancellation.
Is Uber One billed by Uber or by Apple?
Either is possible, and the receipt is the only reliable test. A membership started inside the app can run through App Store or Google Play billing rather than through Uber, which is also why the in-app price and the web price sometimes differ. If Apple or Google sent the receipt, cancel in that store's subscription settings, because End Membership cannot stop a charge Uber did not take.
Uber One is not showing in my account
The membership only appears on the account that holds it. Check the receipt to confirm which account and phone number was charged, and check the other Uber app, since the same membership is reached from both Uber and Uber Eats.
I cancelled the membership and my order still went ahead
That is expected. The membership and an individual order are separate: ending Uber One removes the benefits but leaves any order or scheduled trip in place, and those have to be cancelled in the order itself.
