Before you start.
- Find your 9-digit membership ID. PeopleLooker asks for it on the contact form and email routes, and it is in your Welcome New Member email and the Account Details section of your account.
- Plans renew every 30 days. PeopleLooker states your plan and report limit renew every 30 days, you are billed at the start of each new billing period, and unused reports do not roll over.
- Signed up for a reward on a survey site? PeopleLooker states that the incentive is handled by the affiliate you signed up with. The subscription itself is PeopleLooker's, so it still has to be cancelled with PeopleLooker.
- Check who bills you. PeopleLooker states that a subscription bought through its app is billed to your Google Play account, and is cancelled there.
- Cancelling and opting out are separate. Cancelling stops PeopleLooker billing you. Removing your own record from PeopleLooker's search results is a request on its opt-out page.

Cancel on the PeopleLooker website
PeopleLooker's FAQ calls logging in the route that gives the best results, for any plan paid on peoplelooker.com.
- Log in at peoplelooker.com.
- Click Contact Us, then select Cancel My Account.
- If you are on the My Account page instead, follow the path in PeopleLooker's terms: Edit Account Information, then Cancel My Account.
- Complete the request and keep any confirmation you are shown or sent.
PeopleLooker's terms state that once you cancel, the plan will not renew and future recurring charges are cancelled. Charges already incurred, including the current subscription period, remain due.
Cancel by chat, contact form or email
Use these if you cannot log in. PeopleLooker's terms accept online, email and Contact Us cancellation requests 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- Start the Online Chat and ask for your subscription to be cancelled.
- Or use the Contact Us form with your 9-digit membership ID or the email address you signed up with. PeopleLooker pre-populates the message with a request to cancel.
- Or email support@peoplelooker.com with your membership ID and a clear request to cancel.
- Ask for written confirmation and keep it.
PeopleLooker also lists a customer service phone line on its billing FAQ. Have your membership ID ready if you use it.
Cancel a Google Play subscription
A subscription bought in the PeopleLooker Android app is billed by Google Play. PeopleLooker's billing FAQ sends you to Google Play to cancel it.
- Open the Google Play Store app.
- Tap your profile icon in the top right.
- Select Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Select the PeopleLooker subscription.
- Tap Cancel subscription and follow the instructions.
PeopleLooker notes that uninstalling the app does not stop the subscription, and that you keep access until the current paid period ends. Its billing FAQ also covers older iOS app subscriptions: those are managed by Apple and cancelled in iPhone Settings under your name, then Subscriptions.
What happens next?
- Your account stays active for the rest of the paid term. PeopleLooker states the subscription is not renewed after that term expires.
- Past reports stay viewable. PeopleLooker says you can log back into a cancelled account to see the reports you ran, and reactivate the subscription if you want.
- Charges already incurred stand. PeopleLooker's terms state you remain responsible for charges tied to the current subscription period.
- Refunds are a separate request. PeopleLooker handles refund requests case by case by email to support@peoplelooker.com, and says a refund can take up to 10 days to post to your bank. Google Play charges must be refunded by Google.
Cancelling a PeopleLooker free trial.
How do I cancel a PeopleLooker free trial?
The same way as a full subscription, before the trial runs out. PeopleLooker's plans renew every 30 days, so a trial left running continues as a paid plan.

I signed up on a survey site to claim a reward and now PeopleLooker charges me
PeopleLooker's FAQ addresses this directly: rewards and incentives are handled by the affiliate you signed up through, so ask that site about the reward. The PeopleLooker subscription you started is billed every 30 days until you cancel it, so cancel it with PeopleLooker as well.
I only wanted one search
PeopleLooker's FAQ states it does not offer one-time searches. A charge that repeats every 30 days is a subscription, and it renews until you cancel it through Contact Us, chat, the contact form or email. Ask support@peoplelooker.com about the latest charge if you want a refund; requests are considered case by case.
My trial turned into a monthly charge
PeopleLooker's terms refer to trials, and its FAQ states plans renew and are billed every 30 days. A trial that is not cancelled continues as that plan. Cancel now to stop the next renewal, then write to support@peoplelooker.com about the charge already made.
I see a PeopleLooker charge I do not recognise
PeopleLooker's billing FAQ says the order was usually placed by someone associated with you, such as a family member or colleague, and its billing descriptor page shows how the charge appears. If the charge was unauthorized, contact support@peoplelooker.com. A pending amount after a sign-up that did not go through is only an authorization and drops off within a few business days.
I cancelled on the website but Google Play still charges me
A Google Play subscription is controlled by Google, so cancel it in the Play Store under Payments & subscriptions as well, signed in with the Google account that was charged.

How do I cancel my PeopleLooker subscription?
Log in, click Contact Us and select Cancel My Account. Without logging in, use the Online Chat, the Contact Us form with your membership ID, or email support@peoplelooker.com. Google Play subscriptions are cancelled in Google Play.
Does cancelling PeopleLooker remove my information from its search results?
No. Cancelling only stops your billing. To ask PeopleLooker to remove your own record from its people search results, use its opt-out page at peoplelooker.com/svc/optout/search/optouts. That is PeopleLooker's own process and is separate from cancelling.
Can I get a refund from PeopleLooker?
You can ask by emailing support@peoplelooker.com with your member ID or sign-up email. PeopleLooker handles refunds case by case. Charges made through Google Play are refunded by Google.
Will I lose my PeopleLooker reports when I cancel?
No. PeopleLooker says you can still log in to a cancelled account to view the reports you ran, and reactivate the subscription to run new ones.
